LAS has a full-time nurse on
staff throughout the school day. The nurse handles
any medical issues that arise during the day,
dispenses medication to students (with
parent/guardian consent), helps to coordinate
medical services for students and families, assists
in teaching health class, and discusses and answers
students’ questions about health issues.
