
Lakeland-Andover School (LAS)
is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian day school
that provides special education programs to
adolescents classified by their local public
schools. It has been approved annually by the New
Jersey Department of Education since 1972. The
school offers success-oriented academic and
vocational instruction in a supportive environment
and provided by caring, experienced professionals.
The school has an average enrollment of 35 to 40
students.
Mission Statement
LAS respects that each student is an individual with
unique talents and abilities who can benefit from
and enjoy a stimulating educational program designed
specifically to meet his or her needs. Therefore,
the school strives to provide quality individualized
education plans to students in a caring, creative
environment, while facilitating the social,
emotional, physical, behavioral, and intellectual
development of each student.
